I want families to know exactly what to expect when we work together. The guidelines below are meant to keep things clear and simple for everyone. This page is an overview of my typical practices and is not a legal contract, but a starting point for our shared expectations.
Session length: Standard sessions are 60 minutes.
Format: I currently offer online only tutoring services.
Subjects: Physical science, chemistry, and Earth & space science for middle and high school students.
Rate
My rate is $25 per hour for all subjects and grade levels.

When Payment is Due
One-time / Occasional Sessions
Payment is required up front to reserve the session time.
Once payment is recieved, I will confirm session by email.
Regular Clients
For new students, the first session is paid up front.
After that, families may:
Pay after each session (within 24 hours), or
Arrange to pay for a group of sessions on a regular schedule (for example, weekly).
Cancellations & Rescheduling
I understand that family schedules change and things come up. I also reserve time specifically for your student.
More than 24 hours' notice:
You may cancel or reschedule with no fee.
Less than 24 hours' notice (or no-show):
A $10 late cancellation fee will be charged.
I am open to small group sessions (for example, 2-3 students working on the same course or topic). Because group needs can vary, please contact me to discuss group options and current pricing if you are interested in a shared session with classmates or siblings.
Through my work in public schools I have:
Completed multiple background checks required for school employment.
Received FERPA training and follow those same principles in my tutoring.
I treat student information and work as private and do not share it without parent/guardian permission, except as required by law. I support students in doing their own work; I do not complete graded assignments, quizzes, or tests on a student’s behalf.
